Tremendous shot Jim, nice and sharp where it counts. Can't mistake the Canadian winter countryside.

Birders here in southern Ontario are giving photographers a really hard time. We are being critisized on almost every post on the ontario sightings forum. Though they seem to avoid mentioning the Birders themselves who are causing proximity problems with the Owls.

Looks like you must be in the right area. Congrats on the shot. I only saw the one great grey when I was up there. I like the choice of lens as it also shows how approachable these birds are. Wonderful post. Lookin forward to more.
