Very interesting pose he is in. I wonder if it is too centered. The lighting and exposure are terrific.
Thanks for posting,

Hello Eddie, and welcome to NSN! :)
Neat looking shot of this little guy, and I like the comp and the details within the spider. Very nice!!
You can post these a little larger if you wish so we can study all of those wonderful details in the image.
Per the posting guidelines, images should not exceed 120 kilobytes nor should they exceed 650 pixels on the longest side.
So if you wish, post them a tad larger for us all to enjoy.

Also, since you are fairly new here, posts a little self portrait of yourself if you like to in this weeks FM motif and tell us something about yourself and your photography, what you like to shoot, etc. We are doing this just this week only, and probably want do it again for another year or two.
Just say hello to the gang at NSN. We are all family here!! :)

Again, thanks for posting this one Eddie, and hope you have many more to share with us all.

Nice shot, excellent color. I'd like to see the spider bigger in the frame as well.

Hello everyone, as requested, I have reposted a bigger image. Glad you all enjoy the image as much as I did shooting this spider. This is supposingly the threat posture for the lynx spider. They have keen eyesight and are agile hunters during the day, deftly leaping and running on low shrubs in active pursuit of their prey. 8)
