If "hypothetically" :roll:I formated a cf card in my 10D and shot aprox 15 photos on it, is there any way to recover any of the photos from before the format? I tried the software demo from Lepp's site, but it seems to only recover the 15 new photos (which don't need recovered) I am know I can't recover the photos that were written over.
My goof :(
Thanks in advance for any help!

That software should recover it all - there are several options for recovery - try them all, one of them will probably find missing images.

Thanks E.J. It looks like I figured it out, but the demo will only let you view a thumbnail & I can't see the thumbnail of a raw file. I don't want to buy the software because my lexar cards came with "Image Rescue" software, no charge, but you have to use their cable, also n/c but I have to wait for then to ship it to me.
As always, thank you for the prompt reply!

The Lexar S/W should recover it as well so it is then a question of whether or not you can wait. You can get PhotoRescue tonight for a fee.

I stopped using the Lexar software--Photorescue seemed to work so much better. You won't regret spending the $29 dollars.
