Green Iguana

Green Iguanas are found in South and Central America and are now breeding in South Florida.This one was from Tavernier in the Florida Keys where it's living wild.The adults can be as long as 7ft counting the tail.This guy was about 4 1/2 feet long.They are eaten in some places where they are called "bamboo chicken"

Nice portrait! He is moulting big time here. I had a pair of these for about 11 yrs. They eat a LOT of salad!
