Make Canon
Model EOS 10D
Flash Used No
Focal Length 500 mm
Exposure Time 1/500 sec
Aperture f/5.6
ISO Equivalent 200

Lots of things I would like to have done differently here but at Katmai you're pretty much a prisoner of your crowded space on the platform and that's it/

Very interesting behavior shot. By the way, your title makes me think: would using that “cologne” give you extra space on the platform?

Was this shot taken at Brooks or McNeil? Most don't realize how hard it is to get bears interacting and Akaska only allows the sun to come when you are coming from or going to the photo site, never when your shooting. Great job.
All things are difficult, before they become easy.

Actually, this was at Brooks and the sun was up which makes for bad shooting conditions.
