Stormy Weather Over Mt. Matier

This summer image, is of Mt. Matier ( el. 9100 ft.), which is located in the Coast Mountains, of British Columbia. I would say that it looks best on a clear day, surrounded by blue skies, from my observations on other trips to this region, but everyday is not fair weather skies, and inclement weather is part of mountain environments, as it was on this day. Always special to be in the Coast Mountains, and see Mt. Matier.

Agree with you Paul....fair weather skies and mountains often do not belong in the same sentence.
Days like this are quite typical and you've caught a nice sliver of light hitting the glacier in this one
