I caught this Great Crested Grebe having a scratch while relaxing in the lake at Yarrow Valley Country park.

R5 RF100-500 1.4ext F10 @ 700mm 1/400sec ISO1000

A wonderful preening pose caught and a great view of that amazing foot that is such a help when they do their 'rushing' dance as they paddle frantically along in unison - almost walking on water. Nicely captured Peter!
