Iceland in Winter and spring can be very monochromatic - so much so that a B&W works better for some scenes than color...

You know how I feel about about B&W nature images in general and that it takes a remarkable photograph to make me sit up and take notice..... Well, this is such an image. A stunning view of the meandering cascades as they flow across the winter landscape!

A MasterClass indeed!! I Love it!

Amazing drama in this shot- so impressive in B&W. I love how this composition leads the eye back and forth from the clouds to the foreground. Spectacular!

Man I can feel the cold but at the same time I would love to be at this spot
