A fine image, with a nice pose, captured here, Peter. Can be a challenging species to locate and photograph, from my experience, so a rewarding capture, here. ( Mature bird perhaps?).

Even though the hawk is right in among the branches it pops beautifully from the surrounding habitat and the detail and complementary colours throughout the frame are excellent, Peter!

That orange eye gives it away- lovely contrast with the wooded background. nice look back too. A fine capture.
