I stood right beside a local shooter who has been there almost every day and knows the local birds habits. The bird landed on one of its favorite perches, sang a song for us and then left. It is a wet-land and forested area with a short boardwalk and viewing platform.

This little wren just sang for those who it knew would appreciate it Karl and what a beautiful image you have taken of it! The singing pose, details and lovely colours in harmony are a delight.

Excellent image, Karl- always special to hear singing birds, and to take a fine photograph, makes the moment a memorable one.
