Seems spider week is rolling on without letting up....
Here's a photo of a very small lynx spider enjoying  a snack (some sort of small fly).
Its significant for me as it marks the end of hibernation for my MPE65 lens.
Self critique wise....maybe the angle could have been slightly lower, and directed at the face of the lynx. Flash a bit hard.

90D, MPE65mm , MT24EX with some diffusion (can be improved),1/200 sec, f14, handheld, image cropped tighter.

As usual, hope its an interesting view in some way and comments welcomed.

Note to edit:I realised the colour was a bit too saturated so adjusted that down a little.

Excellent detail and nice flash light, good you’re working with the MP-E65 again.

Thanks David and Tom. Need to try different flash setups for this lens.

I saw this yesterday but didn't have time to comment - toning down the colour saturation was definitely the right thing to do! A fine image Darren with superb detail but I won't hang around.

Thanks. It's ok. It's just an attempt to use an old piece of glass.

Shoot what's available at the time. But yeah it's not everyone's cup of tea..

Will explore other possibilities with this lens the way Tom has been doing.

Cheers....

This one made me smile- having a nice meal-about as cute as a spider can get! :)

Agree it's quite cute. Aiming for clearer shots of them snacking.;)
