Another Short-Eared Owl

Here is another Short-Eared Owl from a few weeks ago in Livingston County, NY.  As photographers we try to capture images of birds showing behavior or “gestures”. In this one the owl seems to be asking us a question – like “is this a good pose?”.  Shot with R5 & 100-500 @ 500 using car as a blind from about 60 feet away.
Remember, a little mild insanity keeps us healthy
