Just back from a another magical and very wet Nth Serengeti, with one highlight being an amazing stormy and lightening filled afternoon in the Lamai region. Here the Lamai pride male poses to the backdrop of that wonderful light show.

Beautiful setting for this neatly posing lion, Marc. The clouds make it even more interesting. I look forward to seeing more images from your trip.

Wonderful content, composition and mood captured here Marc - so befitting the King of Beasts as he takes a few moments of reflection.

I Love this!

Carol.

So majestic-terrific storm scene-I see the wind blowing his mane. I wonder if he eventually took cover. (And maybe you did too!) :)

Thanks Cindy

The whole pride just stayed where they were and tucked down as this massive storm hit, we parked our vehicle's rear to the storm front
and also waited it out for an hour or so to pass.

Marc, being critical here - the bright left side draws the eye too much. Perhaps pull that down a little in post might help? Otherwise a lovely vista with a nice lion pose.
Regards,

Des

Thanks Des

Have to agree to disagree, it's that very transition from light to dark that tells the story of the impending storm, so for me it stays @ that level.
