old photo: mating beetles

Something I encountered during a previous nite macro walk.
The specular highlights are still quite visble due to the use of flash but hopefully not too distracting.
The angle of view is a bit higher than the classic macro side view.
Canon 90D, T90, 1/200, f16, handheld.
Enjoy the view and comments welcomed.

A different take on Romeo and Juliet, Darren. It just shows that there is someone for everyone...... and I don't find the flash too distracting.

The light brings out the details in the wing cases - it adds to the image.
