I will be flying to Orlando on Dec. 11 and driving to Vero Beach. Appreciate any recommendations for refuges etc to shoot in the Orlando area and en route to Vero Beach.

Richard, You might want to check, but Viera Wetlands may currently be closed for reconstruction.  Consider Orlando Wetlands.
