Bixby Bridge - California
a7R5, 28mm, ISO 1600, f/3.2, 30s
The Bixby Bridge, commonly seen as the gateway to California's Big Sur central coast.  This was taken at night, I could not see the water, cliffs, or even the bridge other than what was lit by the cars.  The side lighting provided by a quarter moon.

Best viewed against a darker background by clicking on the image.

Wonderful!  I have a similar image taken on a full moon night but I waited to minimize the number of cars.

Wonderful image - the bright streak of light really adds to it....just a bit odd that there are no red taillights?

This is remarkable EJ. Good lighting from the moon. A must to view large as mentioned.

It's because the highway is closed due to mudslides about 20 miles to the south so there is no through traffic and nobody would be going that way at night.  The cars coming back are all sightseers coming back towards Monterey after dark.

Amazing shot with the streaks of light to show the road and bridge cutting into the mountainside. Love seeing the stars too. A very evocative shot.

Love it!
I agree...the car light trails help accentuate the road/bridge and add interest.
