I checked out the other pier today. I can go to the very end and I did. I took a chance that the police would make me leave, but no fine was given yet to anyone as I heard. Will try again.

Glad to hear that you were able to reach a good vantage point for photography, Karl. Great image of the female, which we don't see featured very often, compared to the male.
