A View From Imperial Point On The North Rim Grand Canyon

At 8,800 feet or 2,682 meters,  Imperial point is the highest overlook in Grand Canyon National Park.

Thanks. The top of the cloud Is included in the original raw image. Not a lot of real estate to work with because of file size restrictions on this site.

Point Imperial is one of my favorites. A nice shot, would love to have seen this in less harsh light - always a challenge outside of sunrise and sunset at the canyon.

Yes, that was around 1pm if I recall. My favorite shots came from when I hit the trail away for the main view point or overlooks. You can see an opinion piece here on why I prefer the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to the South rim. In short, the South Rim is was too crowded for me...

Totally agree - back when I was running Navajo Country workshops I only took my clients to the north rim.

The South Rim is stunning too, but too much like Disneyland for me...
