No matter how many times I visit Watkins Glen Gorge I am always impressed with the iconic Rainbow Falls.  To me it looks almost tropical even though it is in upstate NY.  There are literally hundreds of images of this falls floating around.  However, I still can't resist photographing it again and again. I purposely exposed and processed this image to be darker to try to bring out the total range of tones.  To me, the darker tones add a little extra mood.  Please click on image to see details. 5D4 & 16-35 @ 20mm F8 and 1/20 sec.

Terrific shot Ed. Glad you kept the dark tones as they make it look truer to life and keep the mood I feel you saw.

Yes we've seen many images of these falls Ed but this is up there with the best! Beautifully taken and presented.

Beautifully done- I like the dark view too, especially when clicked on. The dead leaves add a nice colorful element.
