The old fertilizer factory in Drapetsona. Drapetona is outside of Athens, it belongs to the area of Piraeus, near the biggest port of the country. It was a group of factories that made fertilizers, I think it happened before the second world war, many workers were born and many died there. Today it is like a photographic season, but it is not very safe to go there alone, as various gypsies are circulating and looking for ways to steal photographic equipment and cars.

I like the way nature and the wild flowers try to bring some beauty to this stark factory ruin, Kostas - and it doesn't sound like a safe place to explore alone any more.

Nice to see the flowers taking over, though they have a long ways to go! A spooky looking building-glad they are not in production.

Stay safe!
