Another view of the Lumholtz's Tree-Kangaroo (Dendrolagus lumholtzi), or Boongary from indigenous language. The smaller of the two tree-kangaroo species, the other being Bennett's.

ISO4000, 400mm, f4, 1/1000, R5.

An even better view of that long tail. Do they hop like the "usual" kangaroos when on the ground? Err, never mind. I just saw a video-they can hop AND walk!
