Spotted this Fox a few days back having a habit of running along the tops of fence panels, Shed Roofs and this Garage Roof.  Despite half expecting it, it pretty well caught me unaware as I had the 100-400 on the Z7II with the Z9 bagged up.

Nature runs its own agenda, naturally.  Taken 25 minutes before sunset, minutes ago.

Z7II... 100-400 S at 1/320 F4.8 at ISO 1600 and 180mm FL.

Thanks for looking and please feel free to view uncompressed.

They are so clever in adapting to their urban lives, learning the short cuts between A and B and utilising the varios levels of human construction to traverse their territories!  A well captured view of their adaptability, Dave. :)

Really nice detail in the fur and eye. Amazing to find one on a roof! I guess it's not surprising where you live, but our foxes stay in the woods. Wish i could get such a close view.

Hi Cindy, I am very grateful and pleased to see so many Foxes and I never, cease to be amazed by their resourcefulness.  Nevertheless, my bucket list images will be the woodland images I have in my mind.  (That's not diluting in any shape, the wonder and privileges I have seen with this current generation).

Excellent details on this one, they have to adapt as this one shows.
