I have been inspired to get my old 100 mm F 2.8 macro out and make some images around the house.  This first one is of a Sunflower that seems to regrow each year in our deck flower box.  Gail nurtures it carefully.  Shot with R5 and the 100mm macro.  The morning light was on the flower but the side of our house in shadow, so I reduced the exposure of the background and cleaned up some lighter streaks.  Thus, the background is nice and dark. Please click on image to see details.

Looks great, Ed. I like the details and the contrast with the dark background.

+1.  Nice one!  The hover flies add a nice touch.

The yellows are brilliant, love the flower center details.

Works beautifully with the dark background. And with a click I see all the little bees on it. Marvelous clarity and sharpness.
