A starless SHO (Sulphur, Hydrogen, Oxygen) image vs. the standard RGB color palette of this bizarre structure 5000 light years away. It is the result of million mph solar winds blowing against a giant imploding star that is 25 light years across. At some point the implosion will get so dense it Explodes as a new SuperNova (exploding star) which would light up our daytime sky..
Processed in Pixinsight, this PP brings out the blue oxygen and yellow sulphur Gases,, Taken last week, 7 hours over 2 short summer nights in my backyard in Portland, Oregon. Askar 600mm f5.6 scope with asi2600MC color astro camera. Click on image for Larger View! |
