 From the same dive as the last post another species of anglerfish, this one is the painted anglerfish, this species is found from a bit south of Sydney all the way up the coast and into the coral triangle around Indonesia, Philippines etc. This one was quite small only about 50-60mm long. Colour is highly variable including white yellows, browns and black to match the sponges in its habitat. Outside of Australia they are known as frogfish.
