Canon 30D, Canon 17-40 f/4 @ 17mm, 1/800 sec., f/8, ISO: 200
I didn't have much time to wander around in London so I chose to walk around in Hyde Park. I enjoyed a lot of the sights but, given that my eye saw only clichéd, banal scenes (attractive as they were) I just kept wandering around. Near the opposite side of the park I noticed some nice light on the buildings beyond the park and a young woman reading a book under a tree. That was the shot I wanted. Not earth shattering but my idea of romantic. As usual, here's a larger version: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49681695676_1c4795c588_h.jpg Mike P.S. Here's my itinerary for the three week trip if anyone's interested: Pg. 1: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49706205262_911f0c8698_b.jpg Pg. 2: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49705352453_4f7919fe45_b.jpg Pg. 3: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49705352423_7d057e53ce_b.jpg Pg. 4: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49705886526_df424a2038_b.jpg Pg. 5: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49705352373_bd2e433c40_b.jpg |
