The Canadian Lynx is such a beautiful and elusive creature.  People saw one in Gatineau Park a few years ago wandering out in the open.  Conservation officers eventually had to put it away because they think it wasn't well because it was on the tame side. This did not sit well with many.  Hope to see one in the wild one day (they can be seen in captivity).  Glad to hear they have taken measures to ensure the Lynx do not end up in traps.

Most wild life personnel (speaking from experience) are into killing their subjects and that is why they got into the profession in the first place.
