Bull Elk
Rocky Mtn National Park, CO
The rut is underway at RMNP! This bull was trying to keep a harem of 47 cows and calves with at least 3 other lone bulls in the area.
Cropped from a horizontal, wish I'd had time to switch but then not sure I'd have gotten the whole rack in the frame!
MK2, 300 f/2.8 with 2x, tripod, iso250 sweet evening light!
