From about 80 feet of water... I like the monochromatic character of the image...adds a bit of foreboding...though nothing happened obviously as I'm here to post the image...

 That is one of the coolest shots I have seen in a long time. I absolutely love this shot-how the fish come up from the bottom in a curve moving from dark to light. Very dramatic. Thanks for sharing this with us in FFM.

I love the shades of blue, and there is a real sense of motion here. Good one, Stu.

Great shot of the baracuda school. the form and swirl really make an interesting composition. A trophy shot to hang on the wall.

This is incredible. Like the others, the swirling pattern and sheer number of fish makes for a very dramatic and interest holding image.. Thanks for the post, we havent had alot of UW yet, I hope you keep posting..

Fantastic goup shot!

Boy does this bring back memories of my wife's first dive.
She saw one of these about 15ft away from her, and it quickly became her last dive.
Has not tried it again since!!!

WOW! This is really exceptional! I love everything about it -- the light, the composition, and the way the fish are divided into two groups in the FG. This is one of the best UW images I've ever seen.

Hi Folks,

Thanks for the kind words. A bit more info on this...

The school of barracuda was literally splitting in two right in front of me and rejoined as they past me. I was in the middle of the eye of a tornado of these guys.
