This makes me want to make a detour in my plans this weekend. Nice light and I like the matching poses. Also like your choice of crop to a slightly more panoramic format.

Cindy, just a note that the road on Mt Evans has closed from Summit Lake to the summit, which is where you would find the goats. Also, hunting season has opened and the goats vanish to other areas when the first shot is fired. Its a shame hunting is allowed on animals that are so acclimated to the human presence.

EJ, I like the image!

EJ,

I assume this was taken earlier in the year as the coats are so thick, yet the Mark II was not out then. It's nice to have both looking at you.

Love the symmetry and the wind blowing their coats.

an excellent double pose..sweet light! I'd actually crop this one from the left a little to eliminate a bit o shadow and emphasis the duo you captured so well even more.

Wonderful poses and beautiful light, E.J. I like that you show them on the rocky terrain. I saw some of these goats from a distance while I was in Alaska, but didn't even try to get a shot of them. :(
