Yes, the light is great. I like the comp with the looming plant in the FG. That sk is great too.

A wonderful image! It captures my attention as a whole and gets even more interesting upon close inspection.

The plant, with its mostly green and the single red leave, makes a strong foreground element. Its roots lead the eye to the pattern of the shallow lake bottom. From there it wanders to the fairly busy center and eventually ends up at those floating clouds.

This is an example of a great image composed from simple elements in a non-spectacular setting. A pleasure to look at!
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

great shot. Where'd you shoot this? Near Flamingo? I see the red mangrove, so I assume you were in brackish water. I'd love to see this one in B&W.

I like the shot but it looks a tad bright to me. The light is nice but perhaps a tad less exposure would make it nicer for me. Thanks for posting. :)
