Wish it wasn't quite so tight and wish the sky wasn't quite so bright but ...

Another shot from a STL with Chas at Vince Shute. Seeing so many bears there, and at Hallo Bay, you really get a perspective on bears' intelligence and their personalities.

1D2, 300, 1/200 at f4.5, ISO 800. (I know there are those who aren't fans of the 1D2, but being able to shoot at ISO 800 with minimal noise makes me a happy camper!)

OUCH! That looks very uncomfortable and awkward-like he is missing part of his left leg. I like his expression though.

Rich, the expression on this one really makes it. :D You've already mentioned the tight crop but there may be a bluish cast on this shot. I think EJ had mentioned in one of my posts a few weeks ago that the 1D II sometimes has that characteristic in shade.

Certainly does look uncomfortable.
An excellent shot and that over the shoulder look is priceless.

I think he looks more uncomfortable with being watched than with his position!

Wonderful catch Rich and that lovely 'Oh Dear' expression is high on the cuteness scale!! 8) 8) 8) 8) :)

As everyone else has said, that expression is just marvellous.
