As the cheetah cubs at the Phoenix Zoo got older they continued to practice their hunting skills on Mama. Thanks to some hints from EJ I think maybe I've figured out the color correction thing, now I know what the grey dropper tool does!
Canon EOS 3, 300mm f2.8 with 2x, tripod, fill flash, sensia. full frame.

Wow Cindy, hard to pick but I think I like this one the best. The grab on the head starts the picture out but the icing on the cake of course is the little guy underneath.. Thanks for sharing this series, a smile with every picture. Great work indeed..

Cindy,

This is my favorite of the bunch as well. the baby underneath looks like he is going for some tail. Great series.

The little one in the back is just priceless. Mama sure seems to have a ton of patience. This is lovely Cindy!

When I look at the little one underneath, the only thing that comes to mind is "ambush!" The mom's face says "patience!"
Wonderful timing Cindy, and great comp!

This is a great series and I also like this one best. I really like the kitten looking under mom. It looks like it is going to go for its littermate's tail.
The colors look great to me.

Love it for all the reasons stated. Kitten 1 pounces on mom, kitten 2 with that crafty grin as he eyeballs sibling's tail... well done for sure!
