Not sure about the halo over the back and rear end? Maybe just my laptop. Cracking pose and stare, shows how long those legs are!

Thanks folks. Neil, not a halo, but I purposely burned the other parts of the background to make the cheetah stand out in the brighter background around it. Did I overdo it? I felt it works but now that you mentioned it?...:)

Morkel you are on top of your game. I love the isolation of the cat, just pops out.

Gorgeous image Morkel -- I really like the way you've made the cheetah stand out. I would consider lightening the cheetah's left eye a bit, and possibly making the transition of halo to bg a bit more gradual. A truly stunning image!

I should stop being too honest, it is a great shot. OK, but the lighter area should continue with a similar offset around the cheetahs head, it sort of stops there and starts on his chest again. Maybe a softer transition too?

Love it! I like what you've done darkening the background to make the animal stand out.

Simply out-of-this-world shot, Morkel. Like the mono version - it looks so powerful and stately. Well done.
