Haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would see if I still remembered how.

This was a grab shot taken while out cruising around spending some time with my wife. It was fortunate that I have taken to always having a camera of some sorts in my truck at all times. Just never know what you will see.

Taken handheld and slightly underexposed, this is a small backwater area on the Arkansas River around Fort Smith. Hope you like it even if it is eye candy.

10D, 50mm, f16@1/250.

I love the rich color of the sky and its reflection in the water.

The colors of the sun, set with all the black really sets this one off for me.

Thanks for all the kind replies. I have just recently taken an interest in landscapes. I have mostly been concentrating on what I call microscapes. Every now and then I see a sunset that I want to capture. This is the first one that I have gotten that I really felt proud of.

Thanks again,

Mike
