(Green Lake Sunrise, Whistler - British Columbia) Nikon D100, Nikkor AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G, 10 sec, f/16, 24mm (EF 36mm), Manual Exposure / Spot Meter, WB Cloudy -1, ISO 200, Singh-Ray 2 stop soft edge NDG, 100% of full frame I had trouble composing this shot. If I were shooting horizontal I would have no problem placing the horizon in the middle, for the mere fact that I was trying to emphasize the reflection. My question is, does this horizon placement work as well when you are shooting vertically and trying to emphasize the reflection? My usual tendency would be to place it closer to the bottom or the top. I could crop it in PS but I'm worried about losing too much image data. Your opinions will be greatly apreciated.
