Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Photo and Digital Art Gallery, week ending 8th June, 2012!This is another image taken of the skimmers on St Pete beach.

Modifications in CS4, DAP and Topaz included the following; DAP Aquarell, Topaz Clean, Topaz Simplify, Selective Colors, Vibrance and Saturation and other normal PS image adjustments.

Very nice painted look, Mark, and a cool photo too. I like that it is leaning towards abstract, but you still know what it is. 8) 8)

Good job. I like the birds on the diagonal and even though they are simplified you can still tell they are skimmers.

The graphic, water color-esque treatment, simple/limited color palette and repeating patterns really, really appeal to me. Nice job! First I've heard of DAP too. Thanks!

Joe, DAP Aquarell has become a favorite of mine due to the border I can create with it. DAP doesn't work with everything, but if it does, you can get some nice effects, if you are into "art" images.
