Hi,

I do not post here freqquntly, so this is not exactly a showpiece, but more a plea for suggestions on how to do better in the future....

I know, the first suggestion woudl be to bring a `real' camera-- but I didn't-- and will next time. I missed tons of good stuff on thsi trip ;(

Olympus 2100, manual mode, f/8, 1/100 or so. It may do better as a pano, but I thot I would start with the minimally cropped original.

suggestions, reposts, and brutal crits gratefully accepted.

Beautiful shot. Maybe a little crop off the top?

I think a bit off the top too as the colour is not so strong there. I'd take quite a bit so that the horizon is not centred.
The foreground water has nice colour but I think it needs something to break the monotonous pattern and lead the eye in, like a log jutting out or some rocks.

I will take the opposite view - I like the sky but could do without as much water.

The Oly is a real camera. I'm in the camp for a small crop at the top but regardless it's not a critical matter for a generally well captured image.
