Hello,

Sun playing hide and seek behind some lonely clouds just before sunset in Africa, the air is full of dust this time of year and normally the sunsets are great as well.

The camera used is the Canon EOS 10D with a Sigma 28-200 lens @ 28mm, 1/4000 sec, f4.5 and ISO 200.

Have a great day

You have a great sky here. I would either exclude the earth all together or position yourself so that the wire were not in the frame.

Good job with the sky exposure.

I see some man made stuff in the lower right so this should really be in the EHK forum. Eliminating the trees altogether would make for a stronger photo in my opinion.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the advice, yes, I agree, I tried only cropping the sky but I felt it lost perspective for me...

The man-made stuff I should have avoided, well, I have only been doing this for 6 months and I learn something new everyday !

Thanks for the help!

I agree, I'd crop out the earth part. Very nice though.

It needs something. Cropping out the ground makes a neat abstract with crepuscular rays. Perhaps trimming off the top if you keep the ground.

I like the interplay of textures and light - in both crop suggestions, and the image as it stands, too.
