thanks for the words my friends.

Regarding the image, here's my flow:

the image is a 240s exposure at f22, 24mm using a stack of ND 110 & Lee 0.9 soft grad for daytime. After which, I did a monochrome conversion using Nik silver Efex 2 & transfer the converted into PS 5. In Ps 5, I first cleaned off the horizon using clone stamp & healing tool,( to present the minimalistic image I had in mind, horizon here is pretty 'busy'). Alternatively I could have done a gradient masking for the horizon. All this was done with the bamboo tablet for better control. From there I did a few layers of levels masking to get the tones right as well as dodging & burning for the shadow & jetty, to bring out a stronger image by giving it more depth. Lastly I did a unmask sharpening & denoise using topaz, doing a square crop right after for the final presentation.

My flow is kind of messy but hope it makes some sense.
Cheers

Very nice use of space and I like the b and w conversion. The streaks in the sky echo the shapes in the walkway. Nicely done.

This image proves that sometimes "less is more". Simply fantastic image with great processing.

Very serene. I like that the walk out on the pier has a jog in it.
