Too dark and gloomy for other nature shots, I thought I'd try some macros tonight.

Canon 10d Canon 100mm 2.8 macro 550EX/wimberley bracket.
1/45 F19 ISO200

Photoshop:
Very slight crop to eliminate some clutter. Healing tool on 2 black specs.
USM. Burn tool on the eye highlights

nice steve. i like the eyes.. they are great

i find the plant a little distracting.. "competing" against the eyes.. :roll: maybe a head-on approach would have helped?
great exposure and sharpness
