Hello,

This little guy was just to happy to find a flower in my garden in the middel of winter, he kept on coming back to the same one

The Camera was a Canon EOS 300D with Sigma 105mm EX Macro lens, shot at 1/200 sec, f22 with a 550EX flash.

Happy shooting,
Rudi

Excellent enviro type shot with good details!
Some may wish that the background was a tad more OOF, but it still looks good to me as is.
I was curious about the light or brightness in this one, and from looking at the histogram in Photoshop it looks almost perfect.
You can get a touch more contrast and richness of colors by using levels, and moving the black slider over to the right just a touch.
Then if you like, darken it by about 5%.
It seems to make it pop just a little bit more.

Still, .......... I like this fine as is!

Keep'em coming Rudi, and thanks for posting this one!

Hi everyone !

Thanks for the advice !, I agree that I should have tried a shallower DOF, I was actually taking photos of seeds when this guy showed up so I shot at my last setting.

I will try to play around a but with contrast ect, thanks, I am learing something new every day :D

Have fun,
Rudi
