Fantastic!!! It makes me feel like Gulliver in his travels! I think the colors are great, but I wonder if it belongs in the Digital Creations gallery?

I like it - excellent composition. The colors don't look natural, but they work graphically.

i can link the origal resized picture if you want to see it with colors that it really has, i put the link if moderators allow me to do that!

I dont agree with the digital creations gallery cos i havent done that much to it. Only the colors but that i agree that i may have put too much contrast into this.

Thanks for replies! -again-

You can post the original here in this thread if you like for comparison.

I have always liked images such as this, showing their surroundings or the world like they see it maybe!
Colors, comp, and details look wonderful to me, and looks like you may have captured the light at the right place and at the right time!

Spectacular image! The color contrast highlights the fly nicely in the enhanced image. I wonder if the fill flash function would have done as well without the additional blue saturation, though it wouldn't have been so dramatic.

I think that from the earlier comments, some may have thought that there was a bit to much from a saturation boost that may have had the colors looking funny.

I simply took this into Photoshop, and looking at the histogram I moved the white point over to where it should have been, and that is all that I did with this.
It now looks a little brighter and the blues may look a little more natural looking.
I don't know what you did to give the bee more light in the first one that you posted, but it looks just fine to me!

Anyway, I still love this shot that you posted and hope you have many more to come.
It was a pleasure to study it!

I used Dodge-tool softly to bring up the shadows(midtones too, if i remember right) and that way fly came up more. Sponge-tool i used to sature the fly little bit up.

thanks again for the replies.
