Very cool shot Carolyn! :D I've never seen starfish like this either. I love the long vertical format with the water and rocks in the background.

Neat composition - lucky you to find all those starfish to make a nice FG element!

I wish the JPEG compression wasn't getting in the way here, but with all the texture a smooth pic would be a very large file - perhaps you could repost at some point with a larger version as I'd love to see it.

A good composition and some nice colours, although the light seems quite dull. Ths image looks soft as presented? What is OMSP?

OMSP is the Olympic Mountain School of Photography. It's a non-profit workshop company. David Middleton, Scott Bourne and Rod Barbee are the instructors, and they are great! The website for OMSP is http://www.cameraclass.com.
