Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Photo and Digital Art Gallery, week ending 10th February, 2012!Used NIK reflector effects (gold), ND filter to darken the top, and a bit of Orton for more punch. Otherwise pretty much SOC. Comments welcomed.

Hi

A fun play of watery motion – personally my own tastes would prefer less sand and perhaps a small stone / rock as an anchor point. But still nice just as it is

Thanks for sharing
Matthew

Lovely patterns Jackie -- beautiful curls and swirls. Great idea -- I like it a lot.

Yes I can hear it! The waves swirling in.....and then the soft whooshing sound as they recede and gently pull at the surface of the beach and move the tiny pebbles....before rolling back in and throwing the pebbles back up the sand again!

Love the capture of the wave action and the beautiful light kissing the peaks!

So glad you can hear it too Carol! And I am glad you noticed the light on the peaks. I had a bit of side lighting as the sun was setting:)
Thanks for the comments everyone!

Sounds good, Jackie. Lighting is great and the effects work well.

Beautiful, Jackie. Yes- the waves and pebbles....or perhaps some cosmic music? At first I did not see this as a beach, but more like clouds over a distant land....music of the spheres, perhaps? Either way- works for me. :) 8)

Quite nice Jackie. I have tried this type of shot numerous times and never had much luck. I like it!
