This is driving me crazy, it seems I battle this problem every time I try to print from my R2400...

I am simply trying to print a 4"x6" borderless print via CS3. However, even though I specifically selected 4x6 (Sheet Feeder - Borderless) in the Page Setup, when I get to the Print Settings page it thinks I'm trying to print on roll paper (see screenshot below). Any suggestions? I have a feeling it has to do with the margins, because the last time I had this problem I added 0.25" margins and the problem went away (I wasn't trying to print borderless in that instance). This printer can print borderless, right?

Post note: I gave up and added the margins. I am still interested why I can't seem to print borderless though (for future reference). Perhaps the simple reason is 'it can't'?

Thanks,
Mark.

I can't remember how to do it on CS3 but this looks like an old print driver to me and possibly not the last version of CS3 where they made some significant changes to the way printing is done. You had to uninstll the print driver. Install the CS3 update and then install the latest print driver from Epson.

On CS4 and CS5, the option to print full screen is not on this page, it is on the first screen you get right after hitting Print but I just can't remember if CS3 was already this way.

I tried installing the latest print driver (for Mac OS X PowerPC) but without uninstalling the previous version - couldn't find an uninstaller to run. Then I checked CS3 for updates, non found (I have version 10.0.1). The problem still persists. How do I completely uninstall the Epson Print Driver?

Note I very rarely print borderless so perhaps I won't worry about it.

Tks,
Mark.

I have that same Epson printer and use it to make prints using Nikon Capture NX2. With this software, I have to go into the Epson Printer software that came with the printer (or can be downloaded from Epson) and select the exact type of paper being used so the paper dimensions are properly reflected in NX2 during the Print phase. You also need to turn off the color management features in the Epson software so your printing software will perform these tasks for you. Your printer manual tells you how to do this. I select the correct paper profiles in NX2. Joe Smith
