Hi, sorry but i spent all afternoon to work this out and i am near giving up!

Printer : Epson 3880
Paper: Imajet pre-scored cards Satin Matt A5
Action: Greeting card designer from Red river website

All installed well, but i do not seem to be able to get this printed properly on the above paper with equal borders...if you know what i mean. I am sure it is a setting somewhere. Can someone tell me which steps i would need to take from the point of the actual greeting card action till the print settings? So i end up with a presentable Xmas card?

man thanks

If printing from Photoshop, make sure you have set-up the paper size correctly - you may have to do a custom size setting for A5. Then make sure you check the Center Image box on the print dialog and it should center perfectly.

Rene:

Our Greeting Card Designer actions do not include the A5 size.

What you'll want to do is use Photoshop to create an A5 layout (unfolded paper). Then you'll put your image and any text on that layout the print using a custom paper size definition.

You can watch videos on the process here:

Many thanks both of you for the respons. A5 is very much a standard size over here in Europe, I will order some Red river greeting paper and have it shipped ASAP,
Many thanks

Rene,

It is really quite easy to set up your own sizes with the 3880. I have many "User Defined" sizes that I use. Not sure what size A5 is. You don't need to use Red River's Greeting Card Designer to do your own cards. I do have Photoshop CS5 though. What are you using?
