Persian Leopard
Captive
EOS300D, Sigma 100-300 F4 + 1.4TC, ISO 200, F7.1, 1/200 -1. 550EX -1.

This is the final one of the five different species of Leopard we had the pleasure of spending the day with.

She is a most beautiful young female, full of the joys of life, and a pleasure to be around. Hope you like her. 8)

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

Carol, she certainly is a beautiful animal. I love the pose and the way that those incredible eyes are on a diagonal line in the frame. Colors are beautiful and the detail on the fur is so well done that I almost feel like I can touch it. Very well done!

Hi Carol,
could you tell us were this was taken.
I am going to Santago rare leopard project in welwyn soon and would like some tips on how to get pictures like yours. I have a canon 1D/1V and 70-200is and a sigma 300 as both are 2.8 plus a 1x4 converter.

I love the playful pose, resting and curled around on his/her back.. The leopard shots recently have been awesome!

Hey Carol, you've captured her very, very well. This shot reminds me of the movie star photos of the 40's. Very glamorous.

Gee, almost missed this one!

I'm not generallly a fan of cats on the ground, but this one works well. The eyes are the obvious feature but the arch in the back is a great addition as well.
