Another small forest scene.

Taken along a short trail across from the lot at Cave Point County Park in Door County, WI.

I thought this tree was so cool...

Nice image Ken. I really like the contrast between all the green and the tree. It's amazing how some trees grow like this.

Cool tree - this would look killer with an IR treatment. I do wish for just a bit more of the root that is truncated at the lower edge of the frame to show.

The tree has an interesting shape all right. I am looking at this on a rather small laptop, and i like it better when the top bright spots are not visible on the screen. So i suggest cropping some from the top.

Makes you wonder what this tree has seen in its lifetime. I love the detail you get with larger format. I think I agree with both of the suggestions, i.e. shift down just slightly to include more root and less sky. Talk about picking nits.
