Morning Glory Pool - Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
EOS 1Ds, 16-35 @ 16mm, 1/40, f/11, ISO 100

I was very tired when I got to the Upper Geyser Basin after many days of 10 miles plus with all of my gear but I pressed on and walked out to Morning Glory Pool - about 2.5 miles round trip from my car and I sure was glad I did - what a gorgeous little pool...

Love the colours in this one.
Not sure if it's just me but this feels just a tiny bit tight, was it possible to give this a little more space.

Not unless I included railings and signs in the picture - this is as wide as humanly possible without including man made objects. Also to go wider and in clude the man made objectys I would need a wider lens than 16mm - I was already up as high as possible.

Not too tight for me. Everything important is in the image. What a beautiful little pool!

Amazing colors. No question about why it's named! My initial thought was also "a little tight" but I understand the constraints. My thought about wider was to give a bit of perspective about its size.

Well done! Glad to see you at Yellowstone...and, for our purposes, yes, this is as wide as it gets!

Spectacular E.J.
I personaly find it a bit hot, but not that it is badly exposed or something ...it's what the light gaves you I think.
Thanks for showing.

Perfectly exposed, very well framed and glorious colors. Excellent image.
